13 OCTOBER - BANGKOK, THAILAND: People make merit by giving alms to Buddhist monks on the first anniversary of the death of Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Late King of Thailand. About 199 monks from 14 Buddhist temples in Bangkok participated in the mass merit making at Siriraj Hospital to mark the anniversary of the revered King's death.
