06 JUNE 2020 - DES MOINES, IOWA: Members of Black Lives Matter lay in Grand Ave. in front of the Des Moines City Hall for 8 minutes 45 seconds, the amount of time a Minneapolis police officer knelt on George Floyd's neck. More than 1,000 protesters marched through downtown Des Moines to the state capitol to demand an end to police violence against Black people.
