18 JULY 2017 - BANGKOK, THAILAND: A man who used to live on Soi 27 Sathu Pradit leaves his old home after picking up the last of his personal belongings. The area was a working class neighborhood of two storey shophouses. Most of the homes in the were occupied by Thais of Chinese heritage. The owner of the land sold the land to a developer who plans to build a condominium tower on the site. The residents left in early July and the shophouses will be torn down in coming weeks.
