23 JUNE 2012 - PHOENIX, AZ: A member of the Unitarian "witness team" tries to control the crowd during a protest against the Maricopa County Jail system in Phoenix Saturday. About 2,000 members of the Unitarian Universalist Church, in Phoenix for their national convention, picketed the entrances to the Maricopa County Jail and "Tent City" Saturday night. They were opposed to the treatment of prisoners in the jail, many of whom are not convicted and are awaiting trial, and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's stand on illegal immigration.
