24 OCTOBER 2020 - DES MOINES, IOWA: People wait in line to cast their early votes at the Polk County Auditor's office. Early vote turnout in Polk County has already exceeded 2016's total. Democrats and Republicans held rival Get Out the Vote (GOTV) events in Des Moines Saturday. Democrats and the Biden/Harris campaign held a voter registration and early balloting events at a Mexican grocery store to mobilize the Latino community and then marched to the Polk County Auditor's Office to support early voting efforts.
