26 FEBRUARY 2011 - PHOENIX, AZ: RUSSELL PEARCE, a Republican and President of the Arizona State Senate, talks about undocumented immigration at the Tea Party Patriots American Policy Summit in Phoenix Saturday. Pearce is a fierce opponent of undocumented immigration who authored Arizona's SB1070 in 2010. He has been connected to neo-Nazi and extremist hate groups. The summit goes through Sunday Feb. 27. About 2,000 people are attending the event, which organizers said is meant to unite Tea Party groups across the country. Speakers include former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Texas Congressman Ron Paul, former Clinton advisor Dick Morris and conservative blogger Andrew Brietbart.
