18 MARCH 2010 - SURPRISE, AZ: Members of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Dept "Chain Gang" work to bury people in White Tanks Cemetery on Camelback Rd. in an unincorporated part of the county near Surprise. The county spent about $2.5 million to inter indigent people in what is Maricopa County's "potters field." About 3,000 people, children and adults, are buried in the dusty field west of Phoenix.
