The new terminal had its "soft" opening Dec. 24. Don Muang is the airport used by low cost airlines serving Bangkok and is now the largest airport in the world for low cost carriers. In 2014, more than 21million passengers used Don Muang. Don Muang International Airport is the oldest airport in Asia and one of the oldest airports in the world.
