Governor Inslee is running to be the Democratic candidate for the US Presidency in 2020, He has made climate change a central point of his campaign and he toured a wind turbine program at the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) in Ankeny. Iowa generates more than 35% of its electrical needs through wind power. Iowa traditionally hosts the the first election event of the presidential election cycle.
