26 AUGUST 2018 - GEORGE TOWN, PENANG, MALAYSIA: A man prays at the temple on the Lim Clan Jetty before a Hokkien style opera troupe from China performs on the jetty for the Hungry Ghost Festival. The Hungry Ghost Festival is a traditional Buddhist and Taoist festival held in Chinese communities throughout Asia. The Ghost Festival, also called Ghost Day, is on the 15th night of the seventh month (25 August in 2018). During the Hungry Ghost Festival, the deceased are believed to visit the living.
