27 APRIL 2019 - STUART, IOWA: ANDREW YANG, candidate for the Democratic nomination for the US presidency, talks to Iowa voters at the Reaching Rural Voters Forum in Stuart. The forum was an outreach by Democrats in Iowa's 3rd Congressional District to mobilize Democratic voters statewide. Iowa saw one of the largest shifts from Democrats to Republicans in the 2016 Presidential election and Trump won the state by double digits. Republicans control the governor's office and both chambers of the Iowa legislature. Iowa traditionally hosts the the first selection event of the presidential election cycle.
