08 JULY 2019 - CRESTON, IOWA: Hickenlooper is running to be the Democratic nominee in the 2020 Presidential election. At least five staffers left Hickenlooper’s campaign last week, including his campaign manager, communications director, digital director and finance director. Hickenlooper named M.E. Smith, who worked on Hickenlooper’s successful reelection as Colorado Governor in 2014, as his campaign manager on July 1.
