24 AUGUST 2018 - GEORGE TOWN, PENANG, MALAYSIA: A family in George Town burns ghost money in front of their home during Hungry Ghost Month. The Ghost Festival, also known as the Hungry Ghost Festival is a traditional Buddhist and Taoist festival held in Chinese communities throughout Asia. The Ghost Festival, also called Ghost Day, is on the 15th night of the seventh month (25 August in 2018). During Ghost Festival, the deceased are believed to visit the living.
