14 OCTOBER 2020 - DES MOINES, IOWA: People in line to get into a campaign rally for President Donald Trump. About10,000 people were expected at the Des Moines International Airport for a campaign rally supporting the reelection of President Trump. Trump spoke at the rally, despite testing positive for COVID-19 less than three weeks ago. The rally did not meet the CDC guidelines for a safe gathering in the time of Coronavirus and violated Iowa's health emergency declarations barring gatherings of more than 25 people. This week Iowa exceeded 101,000 cases of COVID-19 and a surge in hospitalizations for COVID-19. PHOTO BY JACK KURTZ
