28 OCTOBER 2015 - KYAUKTAN, MYANMAR: People climb onto a ferry to take them to Kyaik Hmaw Wun Pagoda, a pagoda on an island about two hours from Yangon during the Thadingyut festival. The Thadingyut Festival, the Lighting Festival of Myanmar, is held on the full moon day of the Burmese Lunar month of Thadingyut. As a custom, it is held at the end of the Buddhist lent (Vassa).
