TalatNoi

26 APRIL 2013 - BANGKOK, THAILAND: A grilled meat and fish street food vendor in Talat Noi. The Talat Noi neighborhood in Bangkok started as a blacksmith's quarter. As cars and buses replaced horse and buggy, the blacksmiths became mechanics and now the area is lined with car mechanics' shops. It is one the last neighborhoods in Bangkok that still has some original shophouses and pre World War II architecture. It is also home to a Teo Chew Chinese emigrant community. PHOTO BY JACK KURTZ
