Although city officials have pushed many street food venders off the streets of Bangkok, those officials have allowed Chinatown's venders to remain. Bangkok, a city of about 14 million, is famous for its raucous nightlife. But Bangkok's real nightlife is seen in its markets and street stalls, many of which are open through the night.
