MinutemanProject

16 APRIL 2005 - NACO, AZ: A US Border Patrol helicopter flies over a Minuteman observation post near Naco, AZ. The Minuteman Project is a volunteer effort to deter illegal immigrants from entering the US without documentation. The Minuteman volunteers call the Border Patrol when they see undocumented immigrants entering the US. Organizers claim to have thousands of volunteers signing up for the effort and they claim to reduced illegal immigration through their area by almost 100 percent and are preparing plans to extend their program to Texas, New Mexico and California.
