26 MAY 2016 - BANGKOK, THAILAND: Vendors in the Silom Road night market wait for customers in their booths. The night market on Silom Road, close to Bangkok's famous Patpong tourist area, is being closed by the Bangkok municipal government. Vendors have been told they have to leave the sidewalk on Silom Road by the end of May, 2016. The market is the latest street market being shut down by city officials as a part of the government's plan to clean up Bangkok. The Silom Road night market sells mostly tourist oriented clothes, inexpensive Thai art, and bootleg movies on DVD. PHOTO BY JACK KURTZ
