14 DECEMBER 2019 - DES MOINES, IOWA: Captain ELIZABETH OHLOFF, US Army Reserve, lays a wreath to honor Air Force veterans during a ceremony to mark the laying of Christmas wreaths on veterans' graves. Volunteers working with Wreaths Across America placed Christmas wreaths on the headstones of more than 600 US military veterans in Woodland Cemetery in Des Moines. The cemetery, one of the first in Des Moines, has the graves of veterans going back to the War of 1812. PHOTO BY JACK KURTZ
