10 SEPTEMBER 2020 - DES MOINES, IOWA: CARILYN BETTIS, from Urbandale, sets out American flags along Gray's Lake. About 25 volunteers braved cold and rainy weather Thursday to line the west end of Gray's Lake in Des Moines with American flags. The display of flags was a part of an annual event called the 9/11 Tribute Trail. About 3,000 flags were set out in memorial of the 3,000 people killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
