11 SEPTEMBER 2017 - BANGKOK, THAILAND: Chinese statues that came to Siam in the 18th and 19th centuries as ballast in Chinese traders sailing ships in the courtyard at Wat Arun. Renovations are nearly finished at Wat Arun on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Wat Arun is famous for its Khmer style main "prang" (chedi).
