23 MAY 2019 - URBANDALE, IOWA: BILL DE BLASIO, center, mayor of New York City, participates in a picket of a McDonald's in Urbandale, a suburb of Des Moines. De Blasio called on the fast food chain to raise its minimum wage to $15.00 per hour and improve worker safety. The picket was a part of a series of pickets of McDonald's across the US. De Blasio joined the field of Democrats vying to be the party's candidate in the 2020 presidential election last week.
