17 MARCH 2014 - BUNG THONG LONG, PATHUM THANI, THAILAND: A farmer preps his fields before planting rice. He said he hopes to get a crop out of the field even though he doesn't have enough water. It hasn't rained in central Thailand in more than three months, impacting agriculture and domestic water use. Many farms are running short of irrigration water and salt water from the Gulf of Siam has come up the Chao Phraya River and infiltrated the water plants in Pathum Thani province that serve Bangkok.
