July 22 - PHOENIX, AZ: A woman leads a rosary service for opponents of SB 1070 in Phoenix. About 50 people gathered on a street corner in a Hispanic neighborhood in Phoenix, AZ, Thursday night to pray the rosary. They are members of a Catholic community that opposes Arizona's tough new immigration law, SB 1070, which requires local police officers to check the immigration status of people they suspect of being in the US illegally and requires legal immigrants in Arizona to carry their immigration documents with them at all times.
