It is located on the north edge of Bangkok's Chinatown district, it grew into Bangkok's district for buying and selling musical instruments. The family that owned the land recently sold it and the new owners want to redevelop the famous area and turn it into a shopping mall. The new owners have started evicting existing lease holders and many of the shops have closed. The remaining shops expect to be evicted by the end of 2016. PHOTO BY JACK KURTZ
