Thai Buddhists Make Merit on New Years Day
01 JANUARY 2013 - BANGKOK, THAILAND: A Buddhist nun at a special merit making ceremony at Bangkok City Hall New Year's morning. Many Thais go to Buddhist temples and shrines to "make merit" for the New Year.
