13 JULY 2012 - WINDOW ROCK, AZ: American flags on graves in the Navajo Veterans' Cemetery. More than 300 Navajo veterans are buried in the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery north of Window Rock, AZ, on BIA Highway 12. The cemetery is in the windswept high desert. Members of the military killed overseas are returned to the reservation for burial.
