07 JANUARY 2020 - DES MOINES, IOWA: US Senator CORY BOOKER waits to speak at a house party in Des Moines. About 75 people showed up and the event was moved outside because there were too many people to fit in the house. Sen. Booker is campaigning in Iowa to support his candidacy for the US Presidency. He cut his campaign schedule short Tuesday so he could return to Washington DC for briefings about the Iran situation. Iowa traditionally holds the first event of the presidential election cycle.
