May 3, 2010 - BANGKOK, THAILAND: Thai Red Shirt protesters on the ramparts of their barricades in Sala Daeng intersection in Bangkok Monday. The Red Shirt protests continued Monday amid rumors of a crackdown by authorities in the next 24 hours. Wednesday, May 5 is Coronation Day, which marks the day in 1950 that Thai King King Bhumibol Adulyadej assumed the throne as the King of Thailand. The Red Shirts continue to call for Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to step down and dissolve parliament and demand the return of ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. PHOTO BY JACK KURTZ
