25 AUGUST 2018 - GEORGE TOWN, PENANG, MALAYSIA: A woman prays in Yap Kongsi Temple on Ghost Day, the full moon day (or night) that falls in the middle of Hungry Ghost month. The Ghost Festival, also known as the Hungry Ghost Festival is a traditional Taoist and Buddhist festival held in Chinese communities throughout Asia. Ghost Day, is on the 15th night of the seventh month (25 August in 2018). During Ghost Festival, the deceased are believed to visit the living.
